What is GoPipe?

GoPipe is a standalone package written in Perl that integrate Blast and/or InterProScan results to obtain GO annotations.

 

How to install and run?

1. You should download and install the GO-Diff package.

From the version 2 of GoPipe, it is integrated into the GO-Diff package.

2. Download the UniProt2GO association file to ../godiff/data/

3. Set your own config file following the example file at ../godiff/config/gp2.conf

4. Go into the directory of ../godiff/bin and run:
./gopipe2.pl -C ../config/your_own_config_file

 

How to update?

1. Download the GO OBO file to ../godiff/data/ .

2. Download the UniProt2GO association file to ../godiff/data/

Old version of GoPipe:

We recommend not to use the old version of GoPipe because it can not use the current datafiles.

GoPipe (current version 1.21):

System requirements:
Hardware: 512M Ram and 1G Hz CPU are suggested
Platforms: Linux/Unix
Software: Perl 5

 

Gopipe_x.pl:

A script for a graphical user interface .
Uncompress it to ../GoPipe_X.XX/bin/, and use it like "./gopipe_x.pl".
TK modules are required and the screen size should be set to 1024*768. We test it on GNOME and KDE desktops.
